I absolutely adore this hotel, as it is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. The views are stunning and the service is equally impressive. The property has an exclusive, private feel that would be hard to replicate elsewhere. I would love to stay here again in the future.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for four nights and we wished we could stay for four months! From the moment we arrived we knew there was something very special. Every member of the staff from the porter to the gardeners, servers and managers are genuinely kind, helpful, warm and welcoming. The general manager, Andrea greeted us immediately upon arrival and offered a delicious Bellini. The check in process was easy and courteous thanks to the fantastic staff. We enjoyed delicious dinner in both restaurants and from the Bee food truck and several lunches in the beachside restaurant. All the food is delicious and the wine selection is perfect (try the local white!). The beach experience is one of the most beautiful and relaxing ever. The staff are attentive and make sure their guests have all they need. We enjoyed a glass of white wine and a fresh fruit platter by the sea - heaven! There are also daily yacht cruises included which we took advantage of and really enjoyed when they stopped to let us swim in a beautiful cove. The hotel also offers a daily yoga or Pilates class on the lawn above the ocean and the instructors are both wonderful! The gym is small but mighty with everything you need and once again the staff was super attentive and always welcoming. Finally the breakfast was delicious and the servers were helpful and provided excellent service. Even as we departed the general manager Andrea asked where we were going next and took the time to provide two recommendations of restaurants in Capri and Sorrento. We’ve travelled a lot but never have we experienced such beauty, ease, comfort and warmth from the staff. Bravo to Andrea for creating an atmosphere that feels a lot like home but much better! We can’t wait to return soon!

One of the most magical hotels I’ve stayed at, in my top 2. Absolutely stunning. The staff were amazing, I especially loved Pasquale at the pool he is such a sweetheart! Luxury is one thing, but being a magical hotel is down to all of the little details. And this hotel had exactly that, none were missed. The restaurants at the hotel were amazing, both Carlino and Zass. The drinks were amazing too, the best Rossini’s! The way this hotel has been designed is something so special, it doesn’t look real. Playing tennis in the court was so much fun, and just above us were the gardens were they grow fresh produce. We could smell fresh basil in the air, amazing. There is no doubt this is the best hotel in Positano, the location is perfect as you get to relax and there’s plenty of space. The views were breathtaking. As for the other 5 star hotels in the area, the Belmond is too high up and away from everything and Le sirenuse gives you no space to relax and is quite a narrow hotel which feels a bit claustrophobic. If you’re picking between luxury hotels in Positano there is no question this is the best option. There is also a complimentary shuttle service at the hotel that takes you town, it takes around 5 minutes- they also come to collect you. I loved the family dogs that were roaming the hotel too, I’m a huge dog lover! The Gym area was great too, it had everything you could want and need. The spa had some great treatment options, I booked a massage. It wasn’t great, the hotel refunded me for it- that’s the only thing this hotel needs to work on (the spa). But it didn’t chip away at my experience here. I noticed the book on the hotel upon departure and had to purchase. I read all about Carl who was the first man to buy and run a hotel on the coast, and really he is responsible for all of the tourism around Amalfi and for what it’s known for today! He then went on to build San Pietro, It was a magical story- I was fascinated with it. It’s a beautiful book full of the family’s history, and the history of the hotel. I cannot wait to come and stay again.

By far the most exquisite hotel we've ever had the pleasure of visiting. Nothing compares. The ambience, the quality of food and service are second to none. The grounds are beautifully maintained as are the rooms. The Spa and gym are perfectly located, providing a serene, relaxing atmosphere.

Great hidden gem. I took skewed meat and my wife tried the pasta - both were fresh and good. Not an English speaking restaurant and they are not used to tourists, but the place was pretty full with local people- always a good sign. we let them choose for us and it worked. The place is open late - people were still coming in at Friday 2100 . Very easy access, parking etc
